Elmer the Elephant is the theme for Aistear this fortnight. Elmer is an elephant with rainbow squares arranged as a patchwork. He is an elephant who is cheerful and optimistic and loves practical jokes.
The children have designed some lovely artwork, playdough pieces and pictures based on the story while also dramatising the story.
