Hello Everyone,
Just touching base with you as we near the end of another year. 2016 was a very successful and happy year in Aughacasla National School. We began the year with a W.S.E. The Inspectors report was very positive and we have been working on his recommendations. Earlier on in the year some of our students achieved amazing success in the F.A.I. Schools Primary 5s. The school team were Kerry Champions and went on to represent Kerry in the Munster finals in Waterford. Of course in May we launched our website which keeps everyone up to date regarding school events and activities. During the summer holidays the exterior of the school was painted. On September 1st we welcomed 16 new entrants. Also we had the great news about the old school! Next we had a wonderful Fashion Show which was a hugely successful fundraiser. Many, many thanks to all involved and thanks for your support! We rounded off the year today with a visit from Santa!
