‘Run, run, as fast as you can. You can’t catch me I’m the gingerbread man.’ The Gingerbread Man is the story for Aistear this fortnight in Junior Infants. Aistear is a vital teaching methodology that we use in Aughacasla NS to teach the primary curriculum. During Aistear the students implement what they have learned in literacy, maths and other areas and apply them to games, activities and role plays of real-life situations.
