The Food Dudes Healthy Eating programme is currently running in the school. It involves the provision of a wide range of fruit and vegetables every day to encourage the pupils to eat more fruit and vegetables on a daily basis. By eating their daily portions of fruit and vegetables pupils earn rewards such as stickers, pedometers, rulers, lunch boxes and drinking bottles.
Food Dudes finished this week for 3rd – 6th Class but continues for Junior Infants – 2nd Class for the next eight days. The children are really enjoying the programme and prizes so far and it is a great way to encourage the children to healthily.
