The Elves and the Shoemaker

Learning through play allows children to explore ideas, develop skills and build understanding in a meaningful and enjoyable way. This week we are using The Elves and the Shoemaker as our theme for Learning Through Play.

This is a lovely story that opens the door to conversations about kindness, generosity, and gratitude. Children reflected on how small acts of help can make a big difference, linking the story’s message to their own experiences at school and at home.
