This week is Anti Bullying Week in our school. This week helps raise awareness about the impact of bullying and encourages kindness, respect, and inclusion among students. All classes will be exploring the theme through different lessons throughout the week. Additionally, each class will explore the school’s Bí Cinealta Anti Bullying Policy which is available on this website for all to view.

The Student’s Council are hosting a Colouring/Poster Design Competition with a prize for one child in each class. The theme of the art competition is “Be a Buddy not a Bully” with the best effort from each class winning a prize.

It is Odd Sock Day on Thursday 13th where all staff and students will wear odd socks, to celebrate individuality and difference by encouraging people to embrace and celebrate what makes them unique.

Through these activities and discussions we empower our pupils to support one another and create a safer, more positive school environment. By celebrating Anti-Bullying Week, we reinforce our commitment to ensuring that every student feels valued and respected.
