Seachtain na Gaeilge in Aughacasla was filled with a variety of activities that helped bring the Irish language and culture to life.

Throughout the fortnight, children created colourful and creative Irish posters, showcasing their language skills and artistic talents. They also learned and shared seanfhocail, gaining a deeper appreciation for the richness of the language.

We had a céilí, where everyone had great fun learning and performing dances together. Children also learned and sang Irish songs throughout the fortnight.

Well done to 5^th and 6^th Class who provided us with An Nuacht every day. Their effort and enthusiasm helped keep everyone informed and added greatly to Seachtain na Gaeilge. 5^th and 6^th Class also welcomed 2nd Class for a Tráth na gCeist.

We finished the week off with a Lá glas. Overall, Seachtain na Gaeilge was a fantastic success, giving everyone the opportunity to enjoy the Irish language in a fun and engaging way.
