The children from 5th and 6th Class cycled the Fenit Greenway today as part of the Cycle Right Programme. All children cycled to Fenit and back to Tralee again. Cycle Right offers a programme uniquely suited to the Irish environment, taking account of rural, suburban and urban conditions that are regularly encountered in close proximity. The children are learning how to move safely as a cyclist in complex, changing road environments in their locality.
The children (and staff!) had a fantastic day. Big thanks to Kerry Recreation and Sports Partnership for their funding support for the programme.

The children finished the day off with a pizza party thanks to Sam’s Business Bus. This innovative program, designed for 5th and 6th class students, aims to nurture the business leaders of tomorrow through a comprehensive and engaging curriculum.
