‘The Pumpkin Who Was Afraid of the Dark’ was the theme for Aistear last fortnight. This story is a sweetly spooky Halloween story about a little pumpkin, called Boo, with big fears. The children had a great time exploring the story.
Aistear is the most popular time of the day for the children in the infant classrooms. Each fortnight, the teachers focus on a different theme and set up a number of stations that allow the children to explore this theme whilst also building on the skills and knowledge they have learned over the past few weeks.
