Class teachers will continue to draft work that can be done weekly with each child if you deem it necessary and wish to keep them in a routine. The school will send out this work each week which can be done with your child if you so wish. This work will be sent out through the Aladdin App, through email and will also be put up on the school’s website http://aughacaslans.com/ for parents to download. As before, this work is optional and is at the discretion of you the parent. All major publishers of schoolbooks in Ireland have made the online versions of their books available to access for free and because of this all the books that we use in the school are now available to access online for free. I would also like to make parents aware of the website www.scoilnet.ie this is a fantastic website that is run by the Dept of Education with fantastic free resources for every single  subject and topic that is taught in the Irish Primary School Curriculum from Junior Infants up to 6th class. On top of this we are continually updating the schools website http://aughacaslans.com/ since the closure began with tips and ideas of free resources and websites that parents can access from home for ideas they can to do with their children if they so wish.

Again, on behalf of myself and all the staff we hope you and your family stay safe during this difficult time.
