Last Friday was Lá Le Bríde. We celebrated the day by making traditional St Brigid’s Crosses in the hall with 1st – 6th Class. The crosses are traditionally made on St Brigid’s feast day, 1 February, which was formerly celebrated as a pagan festival marking the beginning of spring.
