There was some great experiments going on as part of Science Week last week.
Student Teacher Miss Buckley did an experiment with Junior and Senior Infants based on the story ‘The Three Little Pigs’. The children were trying to solve which house structure was the best for staying standing from the wolf. Miss Buckley tested each design with a hair drier to see which one would stay standing. It was a lovely experiment which the infants loved. Well done everyone.
5th and 6th put on some fantastic experiments in the hall for the school on Friday afternoon. It was clear we have some budding scientists in Aughacasla National School. Have a look at the experiments for yourself below….
