On Friday we had World Book Day. Everyone dressed up in costumes from their favourite books. World Book Day is all about celebrating books and reading. Throughout the day the children talked about their favourite books and characters in class. There were some very inventive and imaginative costumes. Well done to all the children (and of course their parents).
The children of Aughacasla were very happy leaving school on Friday as they each received an Easter egg. Thanks to the PA for organising this.
Aughacasla is closed for Easter break and will reopen on Monday 9th April. We hope everyone has a chocolate filled and enjoyable Easter.
