Maths Week is an annual all-island festival dedicated to raising awareness and appreciation of maths and numeracy among young people, parents and the wider population (12th – 20th October). Over 400,000 people, including students and the general public, took part in events across the island focused on driving home the benefits of maths and all the opportunities it brings for individuals, society and the economy.
As it draws to a close we reflect on a great week of interactive and fun maths activities in Aughacasla NS. We incorporated maths as much as possible into lessons this week and the children really enjoyed it. Have a look at the pictures of the week on our Gallery Page.
