Below is a message from Mr Doyle.
The excitement is really starting to build in the school with both teachers and students readying themselves for the Christmas Show on Thursday and of course the anticipated arrival of Santa in the coming days. I would just like to remind everybody that the show will begin at 7pm with the infants performance first up followed by all the other classes straight after. With regard to the use of photography at the show I would like to remind all parents that photos will not be permitted during the performance but after the shows if you wish to take a photo of your child up on the stage this will be permitted. While of course parents have permission to take photos of their own children they also have a duty of care to other children especially when posting photos on social media. This is not the responsibility of the school to police.
On behalf of the PA, the BOM and all the staff I would like to thank everybody who contributed in any way to the very successful bake sale that was run on Sunday last by the PA. €583.25 was raised in total.
Finally in case I don’t get a chance to meet everybody on Thursday evening I would just like to wish everybody a very Happy Christmas and a successful New Year from everybody in Aughacasla NS.
