It was all about girl power today as Miss Williams, Katie and the girls from 3rd and 4th Class went to John Mitchel’s to compete in the 5-a-side Futsol Competition. To say the girls did fantastically well is an understatement. The girls cruised through the group stages with a 7-1 win over Moyderwell (B) and a 6-0 win over Castledrum. It was on to the final where they went up against a strong Moyderwell (A) team and after full-time the score was 2-2 with nothing able to separate the sides. A joint victory was the fairest outcome after such a hard fought battle.
Well done girls and in the words of Mr Doyle move over Jose Mourinho there’s a new management team in town …….
