Today we welcomed Lucy Hunt from the Heritage in Schools Programme to Aughacasla National School. Lucy is a Marine Bologist from Waterville. She spoke to all classes on marine matters, biodiversity and local environmental issues. We learned so much about our beautiful local environment. We had such an enjoyable day. A big thank you to Lucy and of course Mrs Galvin for organising the visit.
